Usually, holidays involve a beach. In her earlier days, that meant chilling, but more recently it has meant body boarding. She was barely into her 40’s when her two young daughters started playing in the surf at Woolacombe, and not to be outdone, she leapt in and rode her first wave. That was when she caught the bug, and since then, there’s been no stopping her.

Family trips to Sri Lanka, California and of course, Croyde have been highlights of Van’s beach life.

It’s not always on the beach though …
